Low-wage earners do not have the luxury of saving for a rainy day. Their rainy day is right now, all the time. So, as you're sitting there in your middle class income stream crying about how we're going to pay for a UBI and everyone beneath you is a scammer (they aren't), think about the fact that every single cent of a CERB payment is going to get spent, and taxed, which goes back into the system that feeds it. And maybe you should hike taxes to the rich while you're at it, so you can stop feeling so burdened.
