Attention
Attention from people can be very addicting, sometimes like a contact high. But if it's very good attention it's an all-over body stone. You become drunk on their words, on the sound of their voice, to the point where it is sometimes impossible to imagine yourself able to live without it. It's not love, nor friendship; though it can be aspects of those, and they of it also. It is your need screaming out from the silence it sometimes sleeps in, begging for something to come and soothe you. It is your want, crying for the company of like want.
