Celebrate

September seems to play host to some very odd celebrations. Accuracy aside, we have National Beheading Day, National Cream-Filled Doughnut Day, Collect Rocks Day, Crush A Can Day, Poisoned Blackberries Day, and National Butterscotch Pudding Day. It's also International Square Dance Month, Be Kind To Editors And Writers Month, Cable TV Month, National Mind Mapping Month, and National Rice Month. Was beheading ever a legal form of execution in North America? And what, praytell, is Mind Mapping? It sounds like some strange cross between Dianetics, Snakes And Ladders, and cartography. I can hardly wait to find out what October has.
