Connection
Recently something happened that I am still uncertain how to take - I met someone. This might seem like small news, but in my love-barren life this is a happening of monumental proportions. I haven't ever easily allowed any man near me, and when I have it was generally always in situations I could control - by which I mean myself. No emotions allowed that I couldn't easily define, expose, or just as easily bury. Everything was long distance, even when it was right next door. This man, though, is a special creature indeed: He is patient, and I am at ease.
