Debate
The current concept of debate is a bully back and forth between two people wanting to win - not a discourse, not a willingness to listen, and certainly not a search for truth or for sharing information. It’s little more than insult. It is a worthless endeavour. If you want to share something have a conversation. What was it someone once said: The great debaters win not because they have the best argument, but because they are the best arguers. It’s just a cheap way to score points, usually perpetrated by people who think they’re entitled to your time and response.
