Disgusteen
I don't know how it happens in other parts of North America, but in my neck of the woods when someone drives by in a car with their music blaring, it is, ninety-nine percent of the time, something rap or hip-hop based. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but my friends and I wonder why it's only that, why it's never Black Sabbath or the Ramones or Blur or the Beatles or The Who or something completely non-rap in origin. Today I heard the surprising aberration, the leap from the norm: someone just drove by blaring Teenage Head's Disgusteen.
