Forgive / Forget
I think we get so twisted in the idea that we're supposed to forgive people that hurt us, that that's the only way to peace, that if we don't there's something wrong with us, that we owe it to them. It's not true. We don't owe fuck all to anyone but ourselves when it comes to our own peace. It's better for many of us to let go, move on. If you want to forgive, that's your option; but it's fundamentally unacceptable to expect or demand it of others, to expect someone to violate a boundary they've set for themselves.
