I like complex people in that I appreciate people who can deliver a surprise, who have depth, variety, or who own themselves. I don't mean secretive types, or those who are different for the sake thereof. I'm uncomfortable with people who aren't genuine. Even when good at hiding it, there's something about a deliberate or covert soul that subcutaneously itches. Sometimes the covertness is understandable, when they're timid or hiding a bruised heart, but some cloak themselves because they feel their real selves aren't "enough". It's rarely true. Most people are more than enough. It's sad they don't realise it.
