Laundry
Of all the household chores there are, doing laundry is the most irksome to me. Rather, it used to be when I had to pack it up, down the stairs, haul it to the laundromat, enjoy the hours long time suck of waiting through it being done, and hauling it home again, up the stairs, and unpacking it. Thankfully, the laundry room in my building is now more economical than doing all that - which is a relief I can't relate in sufficient detail. Mind you, discussing laundry is about as gripping a topic as witnessing golf or watching paint dry.
