This is a cornerstone of supremacy culture. If you don't want to see it, you don't have to.
If you don't want to be bothered by others' hunger, homelessness, visits to food banks, their kids' lack of school supplies, their dumpster diving for necessity, the racism, harassment, bullying, othering, and bigotry they face, their sadness, despair, and how they serve you in ways you spend fortunes to have them serve you by doing things they can't themselves afford, you don't have to.
And if you don't want to be bothered by someone else's genocide, you can turn off the news.
