The pointe
I have been studying a lot about the makings of pointe shoes. I was always fascinated by ballet as a child, and I even took ballet lessons for a little while. It was too expensive though, and I didn't have that much desire to become proficient so it went by the wayside. I'm no longer fascinated by ballet in that way, but I still have this sneaking desire to own a pair of pointe shoes. I would never dance in them of course, way too much danger involved. Maybe I should stick to character shoes and take up flamenco instead.
