One of the most amazing things about living alone is what one person can generate: the amount of trash, the piles of dirty dishes, and so forth. I'm considering starting a movement by which dishes and utensils made from anything other than throw-away, recyclable materials will be outlawed. We will all eat from paper plates using toss-off cutlery so that we never have to face a sink full of dirty dishes and mystery goo ever again. There is a reason why I keep rubber gloves around. It's because I find the touch of mystery goo to be less than pleasing.
