Comfort foods

The idea:
Think about your favourite foods, the things - childhood and adulthood - that bring your comfort, make you feel warm when you're cold, up when you're down, and easy when you're feeling frazzled.
Do:
- Create a background of a colour that brings you comfort, using paint, pencil, or papers.
- Collect images from magazines and other sources, even ones you take yourself.
- Collect recipes if there are any, perhaps ones that are even a bit different from what you normally prepare.
- Cut everything to suit, and play around with arrangements until you're happy with what you have then glue everything down.
- Add some descriptive text to the page - about flavours, ingredients, memories of past times you've enjoyed the foods.
- You could embellish the page with ephemera like labels, packaging, or pieces of other things that bring you comfort.
Notes:
- You could use a photo of a food you prepared yourself as the centrepiece and arrange everything around it.
- You could go big and create a separate page for each of your favourite foods - with recipes - and either keep it in your memory box or give it as a gift to someone.
