Never throw anything away - here's why
general journal junk

You will need:
- failed artworks or work you've abandoned
- scissors or paper cutter
- adhesives
- surface or object
Do:
- cut the work into desired shapes (I did all squares of the same size)
- attach the squares to surface of choice
You could make:
- A mosaic of squares that you can frame.
- A collage, where the pieces are arranged in designs and patterns other than the mosaic.
- A coaster, by gluing the squares onto a surface such as cork, and sealing it to make it waterproof.
- Cover your journal, scrapbook, photo album, notebook, or planner with the pieces.
- Glue magnets to the papers to create fridge magnets from them. You can use small tiles, magnets, or magnetic sheets.
- Create greeting cards by using a single square, or by making a small collage.
- Turn the squares into changeable art by turning them into tiles that can be moved around their support, or swapped out for others when the mood strikes you.
- Fancy up a piece of furniture, home decor, or a kitchen item by attaching the squares to it. Optimal for things like coat racks, lampshades, door labels, jar labels, etc.
- Make unique bookmarks by gluing the pieces onto cardstock.
- Create a wind chime, mobile, or sun catcher using the squares and some carefully selected pieces of metal or glass to make the chimes.
- Group the pieces based on colours or patterns and create a small mosaic puzzle by gluing the pieces to something sturdy like thin wood, masonite, or tile.
- Create a decorative tray by gluing the squares onto a wooden base and sealing it to protect the papers.
- Turn the squares into pieces of jewellery, keychain charms, or rear-view mirror charms.
- Use the pieces as gift wrap, or to decorate a traditionally wrapped gift.
- Make keychains by gluing artwork squares onto clear keychain covers.
- Design holiday (or any day!) ornaments by gluing the squares onto items that can suitably be used as ornaments.
- Sew or glue the pieces into a cloth that can be turned into a wall tapestry.
- Upcycle a shoebox and turn it into a decor or storage box.
