Paper piles

I keep ending up with those 12x12 packs of scrapbooking paper. That's the danger of a dollar store and adult money. I'm not a crafter, so I have no idea what I personally am going to do with it all - unless I give it away. But here are some things you can do with it if you've got a stack of it and no idea where to go.
Backgrounds:
- Cut pieces into the size of picture frames you have and use it as a background for photographs you want to display. Works for small pieces of art too, drawings, and other memorabilia.
Notes / Invitations:
- If you need to send a note, why not fancy it up a bit? Write the note on the back of the paper if it's blank, or write the note on a regular piece of paper and glue or tape it to a piece of scrapbook paper. This is also a way to create some unique invitations to a party or event.
Wrapping paper:
- This paper works great for wrapping small gifts or making little bags for small items. You can also make gift tags out of it as well.
Decorations:
- Use the paper to create decorations for an event, like wall decor, banners, table pieces and confetti, place and seating cards, menus and programmes,
Magnets:
- Cutting pieces into desired shapes and affixing them to magnets or magnetic sheets to make decorative magnets for your fridge or magnetic noticeboards. You can also make coasters and placemats as well.
Bookmarks:
- Cut into appropriate shapes and sizes to work as bookmarks for your reading. If they're blank on the back, they can be used to take notes too.
Journal covers:
- You can create book covers by folding the scrapbooking paper over the covers, or collaging different pieces on the cover to create something more colourful and unique.
Memory boxes:
- Decorate a plain box by covering them with scrapbooking paper, either in whole pieces or small ones. You can also use the papers to create dividers, tabs, and labels if you're organising something specific.
