Use an old magazine as a planner, scrapbook, travelogue, or other type of notebook.
You will need:
- old magazines
- adhesives
- sticky notes (optional)
- blank paper (lined/unlined)
Notes:
- Use magazine pages to create a planner or journal by gluing in calendars, to-do lists, and notes directly onto the pages of the magazines.
- Use the magazine as a scrapbook by adding your memorabilia, keepsakes, and ephemera directly to the pages.
- Document your travels by pasting your ephemera into the magazine itself, particularly one that you got on your travels.
- You can glue notepaper onto the magazine pages to write on, or write your notes and then attach them to the magazine's pages.
- Consider reinforcing the edges of the pages with washi tape, coloured painters tape, or masking tape that you draw, write, or paint on.
- You can also cut pieces out of a magazine to attach into a journal or scrapbook to write about or use as a base for another artwork.
