I watched the stupidest thing last night. It was an Adam Sandler film, so right away you know stupid is involved. At least he wasn’t being the idiotic version of him that I don’t like. I actually don’t like him at all, and never found him funny.
Anyhow.
It’s called Pixels, the basic premise of which is that aliens have misinterpreted some videotape of kids playing 1980s arcade games as a threat, so they start attacking Earth with Pacman and Centipede and such. The idea is interesting, some of the special effects were also neat, but it was way too long. It could have been funnier.
I love Centipede.
It’s too bad they didn’t attack with Galaga. I liked that one too.
Lots of famous folk making cameo appearances, including the guy who invented Pacman.
I bet Peter Dinklage and Sean Bean never thought they’d end up there.
