I continuously question the necessity of shedding. As a human, I have no scales, feathers, fur, or otherwise, so why does my hair need to fall out? I complain because the hair always falls out and gets stuck someplace where it'll annoy, and annoy, and irritate, and bother, and no matter how hard you try you can't get the damned thing off, or you do, and it leaps from your fingers and attaches to some other place from whence it will annoy and irritate and drive you more 'round the twist than a good go at some other torture.
