At a certain point in life we sometimes stop going forward musically. We don't just get stuck in a now, we backslide to a point when music meant the most to us. So now I look back on the new wave and punk of the '80s, the grunge and British invasion of the '90s, in many ways they are the places I feel most comfortable. Others look back to the innocence of the '50s, the rebellion of the '60s, and feel similarly. What will kids look back on in twenty years time?
