I was asked if I was a zoo person. I'm not. I find staring at animals in cages about the most boring thing one could engage in. There's only one zoo that I liked - the Biodome in Montreal; it's set up in environments, each with a specific climate and the plants and animals to match. The animals (sort of) roam free, and it's all very natural looking. I'm not an animal person, really. I don't hate them, they just don't get me. Oddly, though, I do enjoy animal documentaries. It's just the concept of zoos that bores me.
