Insomnia

It's not even 9 a.m., and I already need a nap. That's the trouble with insomnia, is that you just never know when it'll strike, when it won't, and when your body will give in and let you have a lie-down. Insomnia has to be one of the cruellest medical and psychological tricks played on the human condition. It keeps you from doing two of the most pleasurable things imaginable - sleeping and dreaming - and makes it nearly impossible to properly do most anything else, like think. I find thinking to be a necessity in the smooth running of an average person's life.
