There are certain types of housework that have to be done, no matter how objectionable we find them. Clothes cleaned, dishes done, garbage tossed. Out of all the thousands of chores there are, I dislike garbage and laundry duty most. Laundry is just such a time suck, and I'm of the opinion that garbage should take itself out. I'm done with it, so it should just go. And sitting in a laundry room can only be likened to some form of liminal space torture, with that droning that makes you feel something's being drilled into the back of your skull.
