Things need to be built, yet sometimes I have no patience for the building. Yet it is that building that is the greatest pleasure. I suppose my lacks make me impatient for some things, because I do without them so much and desire them so badly. I push myself both ways; both to slow down, and to get what I can out of something while the getting can be had. It's not always easy to remember the means are the ends; that the means, the process, is what makes existing so pleasurable, and from which we gain the most benefit.
