Living alone seems like a blessing; doing what you want when you want, and not doing what you don't when you don't want to. However, it's a silver sheen with cloudy insides. Liivng alone can get you into bad habits, ones you don't realise you have until you're in public getting the evil eye from strangers. Then it hits home. A Chinese proverb says we should behave in public as we do at home, and at home as we do in public. There's lots of sense and truth there, which should be embraced by people who eat with their fingers.
