- give up your seat to the elderly or infirm
- take a seat from an elderly man when he offers it to you graciously
- say thank-you when someone holds the door for you
- hold the door open if you get there first
- read everything you can
- appreciate the effort of others
- give yourself more credit
- never denigrate others for being better/worse at something than you are
- never attack without cause
- never attack unless in Defense of oneself
- defend those weaker than yourself
- honour promises and apologise if you can't
- avoid selfishness / thoughtlessness / rudeness
- realise and accept that you are not the centre of the universe
- lend an ear or shoulder when you see a need
- give others the glory or spotlight when they deserve it
- thank those who help you graciously
- dance like no one is watching
- sing with every ounce of soul you have
- never hold back love
- never put a price on friendship
- never turn relationships into barter situations
- don't sneer

- never be a poor sport
- lose with grace

- invite others to share in your joy
- offer to share in someone else's sadness so they don't feel isolated

- send someone a secret gift or nice message now and then - even if you don't like them - everyone deserves a boost
