A friend posted what she referred to as her "social résumé", which I thought was a fairly nifty idea. Not the least of the reasons being that I like making lists. So, let's see:
- Better guest than host
- Have no tolerance for humour based on gender, race, sexual assault, incest, people who can't make jokes without being utterly base and crass, nor anyone who does anything but punch down
- Not shy, but am timid
- Like to volunteer
- Frequently end a conversation one sentence too late
- Too solitary for my own good; have also been told I'm too independent as well
- Left-leaning and grossly socialist
- I don't suffer the wilfully ignorant gladly
- Blunt, but with a great capacity for being diplomatic
- Will tell you more than you ever needed or wanted to know about coloured pencils
- Prefer to watch movies alone; or, rather, I've grown used to it
- As good as I am at writing, I prefer spoken communication to written when it comes to trying to suss someone out; but, at the same time, I don't like speaking in front of groups (even if it's a group of people I'd have no problem baring my soul to one-on-one)
