The Cons were never on my list, the Liberals have talked themselves right off my list (not that they were ever really on it, but I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt), which leaves us two viable choices. I don't want a merger. Party mergers are dangerous and reduce choice (look at what happened in Canada after the merger of the federal PCs and Reform. They need to split again). But it would be nice if the other two options would work together to rid us of one more vestige of old white man 1%ing coloniser politics.
