For a while, after I deleted my Twitter account and before I started using my Bluesky account instead, I was keeping my bits and pieces on my Tumblr, which I also no longer use. These are those bits and pieces.
01 - I left a voicemail for the Prime Minister begging for a formal request to ceasefire in Gaza (and now the West Bank). I requested that we divest from every contract we have to sell arms of any kind to anyone. I requested that we stop funding aggressors and oppressors.
03 - I’m suddenly having a terrible craving for jellied citrus fruit - like lime wedges or something.
08 - Today’s message to the Prime Minister included reports from Gaza about the stench of decay in the air, and dogs eating the bodies of the dead who can’t be collected. I also told him I was ashamed of him.

14 - Although I have not looked into all the details, there is a push to divest all your money and banking from big banks and move it to local credit unions. This is being driven by a number of things, including distancing from oil investments, the sale of arms, and support of the Israeli government.
25 - I wonder what the evolutionary purpose of the human chin is.
25 - The owner of the variety store is a nice guy, but not chatty, and always seemingly aloof. When he came to the counter to check me out he had the same cool face - until he saw I was wearing a keffiyeh. The instant change in his manner was dramatic. It completely softened, and he struck up a chat. :)
29 - I may have passed the test for being human. My doctor told me on Monday that I have a soul. Verified by a medical professional!
30 - I’m very rarely wrong. I think the wrongest I’ve been in recent memory, was the time I thought using chocolate milk in coffee instead of regular milk or cream, would be like making mocha.
I was wrong about that. It did not do that.
