Capitalism picked a default setting and spends its time forcing prostration to individualism on us so we other anything that doesn't fit the default - able-bodied, white, male, straight, etc. It will do whatever it can to tell you that if you're not its idea of default, that you're the problem, that there's something wrong with you. The more it has us fight each other, the less likely it is that we see who the real problem is, and the less time and energy we have to fight against it. It is a thief, a liar, an enslaver, and a bully.
