Here's some things to suggest to people that they advocate for while they're bitching about poverty and insulting the impoverished:
- increases to social assistance
- a basic income
- crackdowns on bloated rent
- universal childcare
- increased childcare spots attached to high schools, colleges, and universities
- free post-secondary education
- breakup of grocery monopolies
- nationalised services that can be purchased in bulk and sold at low cost
- increased investment in flexible work opportunities to allow more people to be employed
- increased supports and decreased barriers for professionals like foreign-trained doctors so they can work here
