Covers
Books:
Get a large enough format scrapbook shaped to suit your tastes, and design your own book covers - either for books you might make yourself, books that don't even exist, or redesigns of book covers that do.
Stickers:
When doing reviews/logs/reading challenges and journals of books/movies/music, instead of just writing the name of the media, you could print out the covers on small stickers and place them on the appropriate pages in your journal.
Album covers:
Find (or create) images of things that would make great album covers (even for albums that already exist). Make some album covers!
By the cover:
Choose a book you like and redesign its cover. You could also make covers for books that don't exist (ones mentioned in other books).
Cover it:
Create a handmade journal or sketchbook. Use magazine pages or other found print media to cover it with.
Decorate:
Decorate a journal or sketchbook cover with found objects.
Fabric:
Use some fabric from something that was once important to you but is no longer usable to cover your journal.
