Monochromes
Pick a colour - your favourite, or something that matches your decor - and cover a larger surface (such as a piece of Bristol board) with images of items in that colour, text that mentions that colour, words or line drawings in that colour.
Frame it.
Or, if you prefer, do it on the small scale and dedicate each page of a journal/scrapbook to a different colour theme.
