Words
Select a random group of words - either from a randomiser, or have someone choose some for you.
Collect images, colours, textures, ephemera, other writings, etc. that represent, relate to, or remind you of each word and compile them into scrapbooks, collage, etc.
You could come up with a project of your own for the output, set a specific theme, make up a challenge. Whatever you like.
You could also, starting today, or on the first day of any month, pick a single word each day that encapsulates it, and create something with the collection at the end of the month - a visual piece, a poem, a collage, an embroidery of the words, a gift for a loved one, etc.
